Chandra Reber brings a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to her work at CWE. She provides business advising to women entrepreneurs, supports high-quality programming, and builds relationships with small business resource partners in New Hampshire. Her journey with CWE began as a client, where she developed a vision for a community space that blends the arts with mindfulness and movement. When a position opened on the CWE New Hampshire staff, she eagerly joined the team, quickly rising to her current position as the CWE Director of the New Hampshire Women’s Business Center amidst the challenges of the pandemic.

Chandra’s journey includes diverse experiences. During college, she performed with a Vermont-based theatrical dance troupe, addressing social issues like domestic violence and racism. She holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her clinical internships ranged from serving young children in Oakland to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in Berkeley. She later worked with adolescent girls facing mental health challenges in Boston and served as a trauma therapist in Kentucky. At CWE, she combines these experiences to empower women business owners.

Chandra’s commitment lies in supporting women to thrive on their own terms. Her work centers on individual visions of success, ensuring guidance and support meet clients where they are. She seeks to amplify the voices of CWE clients and nurture a collaborative community where clients amplify each other.

Outside work, Chandra enjoys making art, practicing yoga and aerial silks, stand-up paddleboarding, and spending time with her family, including two cats and four dogs. If you catch her on Zoom, you might witness her cat Noodles playing fetch!
