Our Vision: A World of Possibilities

Imagine a world where every woman—regardless of origin, appearance, or identity—stands tall in her economic power. The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) not only envisions this reality we are working to make it so. Since 1995, we’ve championed women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship. Our vision extends beyond her self-sufficiency, impacting her family stability and community prosperity. We lift up the women who lift up the world.

Of all United States businesses, 39% are women-owned, employ 12 Million people, and generate $2.7 Trillion to our nation's economy.

Fueling Innovation and Growth

Women entrepreneurs are the unsung heroes of our economy, weaving their dreams into reality and driving progress. Their resilience, creativity, and unwavering determination shape the very fabric of our nation’s economic landscape.

Despite their remarkable achievements, women business owners grapple with challenges—limited access to finance, educational gaps, work-life balance struggles, and gender biases. These barriers not only impact individual potential, but also ripple through families, communities, and our nation’s stability.
