The Impact & Learning department has the goal of helping CWE become a learning organization that generates and uses data and evidence to inform strategic decision-making, increase organizational effectiveness, ensure accountability, and generate knowledge to inform the field at large. It is in charge of leading the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning capacity, collecting and analyzing data on CWE clients and programs, and working closely with data and evidence users inside and outside CWE to advance the organization’s mission of increasing women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship.
The Impact and Learning Manager role reports directly to the VP of Impact and Learning. It combines deep conceptual and analytical work with day-to-day management and implementation of the monitoring, evaluation and learning function. With guidance from the VP of Impact and Learning, the Manager will perform literature reviews, develop quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, perform quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and support the production of research and dissemination materials like reports, papers, policy briefs, and presentations. The Impact and Learning Manager will help promote a culture of curiosity and learning across the organization and liaise with CWE staff on the collection, management, and use of data to inform programmatic decisions and increase the impact of CWE’s direct services on its clients. Externally, the Impact and Learning Manager will support dissemination efforts to share CWE’s data and insights with the broader field of women’s economic empowerment in the US.
Reside within an hour of the Boston, Massachusetts Area. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence as needed and upon request.

CWE is dedicated to being the most trusted and impactful resource for women entrepreneurs in New England. As the Program Manager, you will be the first and primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring a high-quality and consistent experience across programs. This position supports CWE’s regional infrastructure, which serves clients throughout New England, particularly the specific needs of the Women’s Business Center (WBC). In addition to managing program delivery and client engagement, you will assist in collecting client data to inform program improvement and organizational learning.
In this role, your focus will be on building client relationships and ensuring a meaningful experience for the women we serve throughout their journey. You will collaborate with the Direct Services team on client management and administration, successful program development and delivery, and data entry. Additionally, you will manage the administrative site functions and ensure that our programs and services are delivered with excellence and consistency. No day is the same, but all are vital to ensuring entrepreneurs have the resources they need to make informed decisions about their own success.
This position is based in Rhode Island, with occasional travel to other locations in New England. It is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work as needed and upon request. All applicants must currently reside in Rhode Island.

The Senior Director of Programs at CWE plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission to be the most trusted and impactful resource for women and veteran entrepreneurs in New England. This leadership position involves supervising a dedicated team of up to 8 full-time staff members, including 1 individual who oversees the day-to-day functions of the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), up to 6 team members managing the daily operations of the Women’s Business Centers (WBCs), and 1 staff member in a cross-functional role supporting rural entrepreneurs, including women and veterans. The incumbent will possess strong people-management skills to foster a collaborative environment that empowers each individual to reach their professional goals while inspiring and driving execution aligned with CWE’s strategic objectives.
In this role, the Senior Director will focus on adapting our core curricula to meet the needs of our diverse audiences, ensuring that both the WBCs and the VBOC deliver high-quality programs. This position is crucial for creating seamless connections between our educational offerings, outreach initiatives, and key stakeholders, thereby enhancing the economic empowerment of entrepreneurs in our community. The Senior Director will also lead the delivery of multisite programs and grants.
