WBE’s certified by CWE can now access a streamlined application with the City of Boston’s Supplier Diversity Program.
The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) and the City of Boston Department of Supplier and Workforce Diversity & the Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion have partnered so that WBE's certified by CWE can now access a streamlined application with the City of Boston’s Supplier Diversity Program. This agreement allows the City of Boston to recognize and accept CWE’s 3rd party WBE certification, which reduces the administrative burden of certification for small and women-owned businesses while increasing the pool of available diverse vendors for municipal procurement opportunities.
