I greatly admire people who have the drive, spirit and resourcefulness to start, run and grow their own businesses. It’s impressive and inspiring. I first learned of CWE when I volunteered to help train clients about selecting the right legal form for their businesses, and then later to help with WBENC certifications. I loved feeling part of the CWE programs and the WBENC process. It was an honor to be able to use my law degree to contribute, even in a small way, to help women become better prepared for the challenges of running their businesses. Also, as my children grew, I continued to see the need to encourage girls to understand business concepts and feel comfortable asking questions about business. CWE is one source of this encouragement; its training and support networks are empowering to its clients. I am proud to be included in the CWE family.
