Jenniefer S. Murphy is the Executive Director of the Veterans Business Outreach Center of New England, a program serving military affiliated individuals in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.  Jenniefer is an accomplished Executive Workforce Development Professional with a distinguished career in designing, implementing, and managing innovative programs that drive growth and meet diverse stakeholder needs. With a background steeped in strategic planning, program management, and grant administration, Jenniefer brings a wealth of experience to her current role.

In her role at the Veterans Business Outreach Center of New England, Jenniefer manages relationships with the U.S. Small Business Administration and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. She helps veterans create and support small businesses across New England. Jenniefer oversees a dynamic team of staff, consultants, and volunteers, and is responsible for program development, quality assurance, and strategic outreach. Her efforts include building partnerships with federal, state, and local programs to enhance service delivery and program impact.

In addition to her executive role, Jenniefer is the proud owner of Swift River Cast and Paddle, an outdoor recreational rental company based on the Swift River in Western Massachusetts. Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through in this venture, which provides outdoor enthusiasts with exceptional experiences in a beautiful natural setting.

Jenniefer also operates JS Murphy Consulting, where she offers leadership development and technical assistance to nonprofit organizations. Through her consulting business, she leverages her extensive experience in workforce development and strategic planning to empower organizations to achieve their goals and enhance their impact.

Her entrepreneurial journey also includes owning a residential painting company, demonstrating her versatility and ability to manage diverse business ventures successfully.

A graduate of Goddard College with a B.S. in Social Work and Capella University with an M.S. in Nonprofit Business Management, Jenniefer has also contributed her expertise to various boards and committees.  Deeply connected to military life as an Army Brat and Air Force Mom, Jenniefer brings a unique perspective and dedication to her work with veteran and military families. Her passion for workforce development is matched by her commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and the advancement of programmatic excellence.
