What inspired Rebecca’s business?
Rebecca and her mother were inspired to start YourYuckies during a hike on the Appalachian Trail, where they experienced firsthand the challenges of managing hygiene essentials outdoors. Frustrated by the lack of sustainable solutions, they created plant-based, biodegradable hygiene bags that support Leave No Trace principles. Their mission is to increase accessibility to the outdoors, break down hygiene and period care barriers, and inspire others to explore nature confidently and sustainably.
