Gaby came to the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) in 2019 with over 25 years of experience serving as the visionary leader of both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Gaby has focused her professional life on working for impactful social enterprises including Discovering Justice, City Year, Crossroads for Kids, uAspire, and now, CWE. During her 9-year tenure at uAspire Gaby was part of a leadership team that built the organization to become a national expert in college affordability enabling low-income students and families to realize the promise of affordable higher education, growing uAspire’s annual budget from $2 MM to $9 MM. At CWE, she and the staff are using data and stories to increase impact for women entrepreneurs across New England, as well as partnering with national organizations to influence policies and systems to propel women entrepreneurs forward. At CWE we lift up the women who lift up the world!

In addition to her current role at CWE, Gaby is on the Board of Dignity in Asylum, a not-for-profit that provides safe transitional housing and support for asylum seekers, refugees, people who have been granted asylum and unaccompanied minors at risk of homelessness. She also serves on an advisory board for Mentorworks, a not-for-profit whose mission is to open pathways to education and careers for students and candidates who may not have had the financial or social capital to do it on their own. Gaby is a graduate of Cornell University, with an MBA from Babson focusing on Entrepreneurship. Gaby was the co-founder of Fernwood Cove, a private all-girls summer camp in Maine where her daughter attends today.
