CWE gave me the structure, mentorship, and confidence I needed to scale my business with intention. With their support, I grew Back to Home Healthcare Services into a $1 million company, expanded to more than 55 employees, and built a business rooted in integrity, leadership, and community impact.

What inspired Susan's business?
Susan founded Back to Home Healthcare Services in April 2020 while serving as a Nursing Home Administrator during the COVID-19 pandemic. She observed that many residents could safely live at home with proper support and was deeply moved by their strong desire to maintain independence. This experience inspired her to create a company dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality in-home care, allowing seniors and individuals with disabilities to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes with dignity.
Business Highlight
Susan brings over 30 years of long-term care experience, including roles as a Respiratory Therapist and Nursing Home Administrator, to her thriving agency, Back to Home Healthcare Services. What began as a vision during the pandemic has grown into a $1 million company with more than 55 employees and an exceptionally low 6% turnover rate. Starting her business at age 50, Susan has built a culture of integrity and professionalism, operating with standards as if regulators could arrive unannounced, while creating meaningful jobs and bridging the gap between hospital discharge and independent home life.
