What inspired Kit’s business?
Kit was inspired to start Petite Paw Grooming by their love of dog grooming and the desire to create a calm, inviting environment for pets and their owners. After experiencing challenges in a chaotic workplace, Kit wanted to set a new standard for humane grooming services. Overcoming health setbacks and fueled by their passion, they reopened the salon in 2023 with a renewed focus on luxury grooming, holistic pet care, and education to positively impact their community.

Kit founded Petite Paw Grooming to provide luxury, grooming services that prioritize pets’ health, comfort, and safety. Reopening in 2023 after overcoming health challenges, Kit expanded their offerings to include holistic pet therapies, one-on-one grooming, and accessible services for special-needs pet owners. With CWE’s help, Kit developed a detailed business plan, secured financing, and hired their first employee, doubling revenue within six months. What creating a business of their own has done for Kit
Creating their own business has given Kit stability and allows them to support themself and their animals. They are one of the few groomers in the community and one of the only ones who can do one-on-one appointments in a very calm environment. Once they have their own property they plan to offer grooming classes for owners to learn basic grooming if they aren't able to afford regular grooming at a salon and to offer educational seminars to spotlight the importance of grooming and offered therapies.
