Work with Women's Business Centers (WBC)

Imagine being part of a team dedicated to empowering small businesses, especially those owned by individuals who have historically been underestimated. As we navigate challenges like inflation and supply chain issues, your time and expertise can provide the personalized support these entrepreneurs desperately need. 

Engage with Our Impactful Programs:

• Counsel: Share your knowledge during one-hour sessions with individual clients. Our team at CWE will help assess needs and match you with clients seeking guidance. Simply listen, share your insights, and make a profound impact without the stress of ongoing commitments.
• Coach: Work with a small group of up to ten entrepreneurs, individually and as a group, once a month for a year. In this capacity, you will create a curated experience for women who are entering their next phase of growth. We will provide training and quarterly check-ins.
• Present: Host a workshop alongside CWE focused on the topics that matter most to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to share valuable information in a supportive environment. This is all about sharing knowledge – no sales pitches allowed.
• Instruct: Become a CWE instructor for our signature programs, such as the 10-Week Business Planning course or Power Forward. Bring your unique perspective while following a structured curriculum to inspire and educate aspiring business owners.

Be Part of the Certification Review Committee (CRC)

Get involved with the CRC, a dynamic group of volunteers that brings together representatives from Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs), Corporate Partners, and current CWE volunteers. This committee plays a crucial role in assessing whether applications meet the rigorous standards set by the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) for certification. Within the CRC, members can serve as File Reviewers and/or Site Visitors to ensure a thorough and fair evaluation process. Their commitment not only supports women-owned businesses but also strengthens our business community.

Support Our Resource Development Committee

Join committed community leaders in the RDC, where you will play a vital role in educating our communities and championing women-owned businesses. This standing committee of CWE’s governing board brings together passionate community and business leaders who volunteer their time to collaborate with CWE’s Development team. Together, we work to build meaningful relationships and uncover opportunities for financial support, ensuring that CWE can continue its mission of providing a sliding fee scale, programs, and services to all women, regardless of their financial circumstances. Your involvement can make a real difference!

Help Plan Our Annual Auction & Gala Celebration

Get ready for CWE’s annual signature fundraising event!   This highly anticipated gathering brings together over 300 passionate supporters each year, all united by a common goal: to empower individuals from all backgrounds to access our vital programs and services, regardless of their economic circumstances. Our dedicated Gala Committee works tirelessly to curate an exciting array of live and silent auction items, attract generous sponsors, host engaging tables filled with enthusiastic guests, and shape an unforgettable evening that celebrates and sustains our mission.
