New Hampshire Women's Foundation Awards Grant to CWE NH for Entrepreneurship Training for Low-to-Moderate-Income Women in Manchester, NH
The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) received a $5,000 grant from the New Hampshire Women's Foundation to provide financial capability, business, and entrepreneurship training to low-to-moderate-income women in Manchester, New Hampshire. CWE will partner with the Manchester YWCA to offer a series of monthly workshops and participate in the YWCA’s inaugural Financial Conference for Women on September 15, 2018, which is designed to empower women to make sound financial decisions for themselves and their business.
“We are honored to receive this grant from the New Hampshire Women’s Fund. It is even more meaningful as both of our organizations work to empower women,” said Susan Rittscher, president & CEO, CWE. “Because of this generous donation, CWE will be able to provide free workshops to low-to moderate-income women in Manchester and help them become economically self-sufficient through business and entrepreneurship. Together we are able to have a lasting impact on individuals, families, businesses, and the community.”
We are delighted to award this grant to the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE),” said New Hampshire Women’s Foundation CEO, Tanna Clews. “Helping Granite State women become economically self-sufficient is a real priority for us and the pathway for building equal opportunity in our state.”
