Senior Director - WBENC - New England
Jessica has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and been drawn towards the world of business. After earning a B.A. in mathematics from Bucknell University, she opened and operated a cafe/restaurant for four years. During this time, she gained invaluable experience in business operations, financial planning, sales, staff management, marketing and promotions, and events planning. During that time, she spearheaded a networking group for local business owners called, Owners-2-Owners. Besides her 15+ years in the restaurant industry, and a small stint in high net worth tax accounting, Jessica holds a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) and a Master of Science in Accounting degree (MSA) from Northeastern University. Currently, she serves as the New England Certification Director for the Center for Women & Enterprise, where she oversee the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certification program and helps support supplier diversity efforts on the part of regional corporations, including Fortune 500, and Fortune 1000 companies.
