When Holly Taupier of Klever Kids Preschool, Templeton, MA decided to launch her own business, she turned to the Center for Women & Enterprise in Worcester for help. Holly had been employed in the early childhood education field for 11 years. Determined to secure a higher income and improved lifestyle for herself and her family, she opened an in-home daycare business in 1999. Soon after, Holly faced challenging times. Due to a difficult divorce, she was forced to move her business out of her home. Once again, Holly turned to CWE to stabilize her business and secure a line of credit. This enabled Holly to expand the facility into a full-service daycare center, hiring three additional people. Holly has faced and overcome great challenges since her initial decision to start a business. This past year, she has more than doubled her revenues and realized her original dream of economic prosperity!
