Andrea C. Silbert Rising Star Award and $5000 Prize
CWE’s Andrea C. Silbert Rising Star Award is presented each year at our Annual Auction and Gala to a deserving member of the CWE family who has benefited from her relationship with CWE and launched or grown a business. In recent years, the honoree was nominated by the CWE staff and selected by a volunteer committee. This year we are doing things a bit differently and inviting everyone who has ever taken a class at, been mentored by or in some other way participated with CWE, to nominate themselves and their business for this very special award. We are also attaching a $5000 prize to this honor!
If you are looking to a robust future in a healthy and sustainable enterprise, YOU should enter. It is very simple to nominate yourself and your business. Just send a brief letter (no longer than 2 pages) telling us about your business and sharing:
How you benefited from your relationship with CWE (what you learned, who you met)
How you would use $5000 to advance your business goals (and why it would help you NOW)
Be sure that your name, business name, address, phone number and email address is also in your letter. Please include information about your “backstory” and how your business achievements have improved your life. If you have any pictures, examples, articles or brochures about your business you are welcome to include them as well. Your letter must be received by January 7, 2011. Send it to:
