COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAM (CEP): If you worry that lack of business experience or personal challenges, such as family obligations or limited resources will harm your chance of opening a successful business, this program can help. Join with other aspiring entrepreneurs in this supportive twenty-week program of business-readiness modules and build a plan that takes into account all aspects of your life. Modules are available separately. CWE recommends participants take both courses.

Now you’re ready to get your business on the right track! In this final module, you will work with other business owners and our experts to: prepare a business plan, determine the feasibility of your business concept, understand and organize your financials, market yourself and your business, reach your target customers, and find options for financing your business. We’ll help you create a viable business plan and identify solutions to typical start-up problems and challenges while you learn step-by-step how to start and run your own business efficiently and effectively. Includes one-on-one consulting sessions. Access to a computer and knowledge of MS Word and Excel is recommended. Fourteen 3-hour classes at $550, $500 if you pre-register, partial scholarships are available.
