THE IN-TRANSITION SERIES
The In Transition Workshop Series is designed to provide assistance to those who are unemployed or underemployed during these difficult economic times. Each workshop will focus on a different topic relating to the job search process and dealing with the stresses and challenges of unemployment.

UPCOMING BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS WORKSHOPS
Join our experts and your peers to solve your business problems! If you have a specific business concern, work it out with a Building Your Business Workshop. Topic-specific sessions are taught by experts who focus on areas essential for launching and running your business, with peer-to-peer feedback playing an important part of the mix. 2-hour sessions, $35 each, $30 with pre-registration. Partial scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Naming, Branding and Trademarks
Do you have a great idea for a company or product name? Are you interested in learning how to protect it? Are you unsure about how to check if others can prevent you from using it? Learn the basics of how to choose and evaluate company and product names from a trademark law perspective and strategies to protect them.

Social Networking
This workshop trains attendees to promote their business and generate leads by using web-based social networking utilities. Notable social networking utilities covered in the course include LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.
Instruction includes how to promote a business effectively and quickly, ushering attendees into the new age of business promotion by using these utilities.
