The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certification offered through CWE is the leading independent certification of women business owners in the United States, with over 10,000 certified women-owned businesses and over 1,000 subscribed corporations who recognize the WBENC certification. Using your certification, you can grow your business through contracts with Fortune 500 companies, colleges, universities, and some government entities.

The one-on-one business consulting service provides established and emerging business owners access to expert advice at reasonable fees. CWE will work with you to schedule an appointment and meet with a consultant to give guidance in terms of marketing, loan packaging, taxes, business plan development, and general business strategy. Courses offered for City of Cambridge residents in conjunction with Cambridge Community Development Department.

The Cambridge Community Development Department has partnered with the Center for Women & Enterprise to provide services to eligible residents, aspiring entrepreneurs, and businesses in the City free of charge. Others interested in participating may be required to pay a small fee. Space is limited.
