Samilys Rodriguez (She/Her) brings a passion for equity and social justice and a strong background in operations management and EEO/AA contract compliance in Design & Construction. She has vast experience integrating sustainable workforce and supplier diversity best practices into core areas of the business to ensure small & disadvantaged businesses receive consistent access to compete for contracts as well as capacity building opportunities. Samilys’ experience includes residential and commercial building prime subcontracting compliance on municipal, state, and federal projects.
Samilys serves on the Advisory Board for Stacks + Joules, a nonprofit for underserved youth that introduces coding and workforce development concepts based on HVAC & Building Automation Systems. She also serves as a member of the Blue Hill Observatory and Science Center Advisory Council to embed equity & inclusion in its approach to student climate change education, outreach efforts and program management. Samilys holds a B.A. in International Studies Comparative Development from Trinity College (CT) with a concentration in Human Rights and French. She holds a professional certificate in Diversity and Inclusion for Human Resources from Cornell University.
